The Behavioral Health Specialist provides comprehensive behavioral health services to patients of all ages within both clinic-based and School-Based Health Center (SBHC) settings. This position is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and behavioral health support services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

The Behavioral Health Specialist works collaboratively with medical providers, school personnel, families, and community partners to improve behavioral health outcomes and address social, emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs across the lifespan.

This position may also provide clinical supervision to behavioral health interns, as assigned, ensuring quality of care, compliance with clinical standards, and appropriate documentation and billing oversight.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Hawaii State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), OR Licensed Psychologist. At least three years of experience, preferably in providing integrated behavioral health care in a primary care setting. 

Communicates clearly and effectively with students, families, school personnel, and healthcare team members.  Demonstrates ability to manage sensitive situations and resolve conflicts professionally. Produces clear, thorough clinical documentation and written communication.

Compensation

Salary Range:  $90,000 – $115,000 annual

Works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver patient/family-focused care. Provides the full range of primary medical care for patients of all ages, including urgent/emergent medical services. Call is required.

Qualifications

Medical or Osteopathic doctorate degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of residency in Family Medicine at an accredited US residency program. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii; Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; ACLS, PALS and BLS certification; Current DEA and Hawaii State Narcotics registration.

Compensation

Salary Range: $220,000 – $240,000 annual

Located in the remote district of Hāna on the island of Maui, Hāna Fresh is a 7-acre certified organic farm with an additional 30-acre parcel under development. The farm produces fresh market vegetables and fruits for distribution through the Hāna Fresh farm stand and meal programs as well as retail outlets and restaurants. 

The Farm Manager oversees and participates in the development and coordination of both field and greenhouse operations and assures facilities, irrigation and equipment are appropriately maintained. Responsible for managing inventory and the organic certification process.  Coaches and trains farm labor from diverse backgrounds and differing skill sets in completion of daily tasks including seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing, packing, and record keeping.  Must be “production oriented” and a willing participant in all farming activities.

Qualifications

Agriculture Degree and experience farming in sub-tropical climate preferred.  At least three years of experience working in organic farming systems and supervising staff. Works the hours needed to get the job done. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 annual
