Medical Care

Hāna Health provides the full range of primary health care services for all stages of life – from keiki (children) to kupuna (seniors).  Routine physical exams, acute care, chronic disease management (heart disease, diabetes, asthma), cancer screening (PAP smears, mammograms, prostate and colon), routine gynecology including well women exams and family planning services, basic laboratory and x-ray, on-site medication dispensary and referrals for specialty care.
 

Urgent Care

In partnership with American Medical Response and Maui Memorial Medical Center, Hāna Health provides urgent medical care around the clock.  As the only medical provider in the district, Hāna Health physicians are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
 

Complimentary Care

Although not generally considered part of conventional medicine (practiced by Medical Doctors or Doctors of Osteopathy), Hāna Health has integrated complimentary care into its practice for which there is evidence of safety and effectiveness including acupuncture, massage therapy and lomilomi therapy (traditional Hawaiian massage).

Oral Health Care

The full range of primary dental care is available at Hāna Health including routine exams and cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings and extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures and mouth guards.

Mental and Behavioral Health Care

Given that many chronic health conditions are preventable through changes in lifestyle, behavioral health care focuses on individualized wellness services that promote healthy living and disease prevention. Nutrition education, assessment and counseling, smoking cessation services, and lifestyle counseling are among the services provided by Hāna Health. Diagnosis of and treatment for such conditions as depression, anxiety and children’s behavior problems, neurological assessments, case management and counseling services - individual, family, couples - are available at Hāna Health.
